Can I use SSH RSA keys for authentication?

You can create or import RSA keys from the Key Manager screen. Use them while adding a server to enable secure key-based authentication. When connecting, the app will prompt for the RSA key passphrase if needed.

  1. If creating a new key:
    • Enter a Key Name.
    • Choose encryption bits (1024, 2048, or 4096).
    • Set a password (optional).
    • Tap Save to generate the key pair.
  2. When adding a new server, select the created or imported RSA key.
  3. While connecting, the app may prompt for the key passphrase if one was set.

Note: Using RSA keys improves security and allows passwordless access when set up correctly.
